Charlett-Laurendine Harris is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (APC #006310) in the state of Georgia. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Southern University of New Orleans and obtained a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health from Mercer University. Beyond that, her experience includes addressing the mental health needs in a community-based setting, seeing clients in an at-home or in-school settings, being a therapist in a mental health hospital for clients needing acute intervention, working in partial hospitalization programs and day programs.

Charlett has experience with counseling children, adolescents, adults, and elderly clients. Charlett understands that life is a life-long marathon with many detours that may often require some assistance navigating back on path. Charlett’s goal is to provide a therapeutic relationship, psycho-education, and to offer compassionate insight in order to make life’s marathon more manageable.

The approach she has to counseling takes an individualized form and it is shaped by the therapeutic relationship created with each client. Her approach tends to utilize a client-centered approach, cognitive behavioral therapy, and solution focused therapy which allows the client to feel more comfortable with releasing and sharing their truest form.
